Bay Area Indian Wedding Cinematography

Karan & Anisha’s Wedding at Bently Reserve and Palo Alto Hills Golf & Country Club

Watch the most majestic, festive, and breathtaking 3-day Bay Area Indian Wedding uniting the beautiful couple, Karan & Anisha.  This epic wedding film truly embodies what modern Indian Wedding Cinematography is all about. The colors, the dancing, the outfits, the baraat, the henna, and the luxury all come together in a whirlwind of beauty and emotion that truly represent the fun loving spirit that Karan & Anisha share as a couple.

Part of what makes this film truly unique is the styling of the outfits they wore.  They looked edgy, hip, modern, fresh, and unapologetically themselves which was a true testament to how they were able to blend traditional Indian culture with a California spin.  It’s obvious that these two are hyper creative because their style was loud, fun, and whimsical. They took chances and it paid off in spades because visually we were able to capitalize off the fluidity of Anisha’s remarkable garments and Karan’s powerful look.

The end result is an other worldly portrayal of a true king and queen that were destined to break the mold and march to the beat of their own drum.  Karan and Anisha were our dream clients because when it comes to filmmaking, creativity is a symbiotic relationship and we feed off each others energy.  If you present us with loud and colorful style then you get wild and vibrant content in return and we all walk away with something truly amazing that the world has never seen and we love shooting Indian Weddings exactly for that reason!

With a stylish Sangeet at the Bently Reserve in downtown San Francisco, this film kicks off with a bang and unleashes a cinematic city vibe like no other.  Between their outfits (see designers below), the lively performances, and the lights from the golden gate bridge as their backdrop, this whole section feels like a scripted narrative film full of  hired actors and professional dancers and we often have to pinch ourselves to remind us that it was real.

The wedding day at the Palo Alto Hills Golf & Country Club was vibrant, gorgeous and tons of fun to shoot because everything was styled perfectly and each part of the day brought something magical and truly unique for us to capture.  The bride prep was glowing with gorgeous light, Karan rode into his baraat on a beautiful white horse and they danced their hearts out underneath the California sun as the parents of each family united and shared blessings with one another.  The ceremony was a perfect mix of Hindu and Western Culture as the couple carried out the Saptapadi (the seven steps), gave offerings of puffed rice to the sacred fire, read heartfelt vows to each other, and ended with an energetic dance down the aisle, bringing this lively and spiritual union full circle.

For the reception they slipped into formal cocktail attire and brought a Great Gatsby like feel to the party as they performed their choreographed dances and celebrated with their closest friends and family.  The dance floor was reminiscent of a VIP Miami club scene and everybody was going wild! This luxurious reception was full of high energy, smiles, and laughter. If you want to see what having fun at your own wedding truly looks like then all you have to do is press play on the video below.

Every detail of Anisha and Karan’s wedding was magical. It was one of those once in a lifetime weddings and we feel so blessed and honored to have been a part of it.  Working with Photographer Sandra Fazzino  and the wedding planner Charu Prakash was an absolute dream and we highly recommend booking them for your special day! Karan and Anisha were blown away when we sent them the final film and they said that we far exceeded their expectations. Anishas’ mom called us personally to thank us for the incredible work that we did and made us promise that we would come to their house for dinner next time we were in Palo Alto!  Getting a personal call from the mother of the bride was an extremely proud moment for us in the wedding industry and it further solidified that we were on the right track doing the right thing. This film will forever go down in history as one of our best and we owe it all to Karan and Anisha for believing in us and for taking us along for the ride!
