As a Sarasota Wedding Videographer, we always get excited to shoot in our own backyard and this wedding is truly representative of what makes Florida a beautiful place to tie the knot. Genna and Adam’s Wedding at the Powel Crosley Estate was absolutely beautiful, timeless and classic. We love an estate rich in history with coastal views framed by tall palm trees and swaying oaks because of the perfect, regal and old world storybook backdrop it creates.
Genna and Adam were super fans of our work and booked us about a year and a half in advance giving us the ability to communicate in great length regarding their vision for the wedding and their film overall. The stage was set with bright blue skies, fast moving clouds, and beautiful decor around every corner. Adam and his lively groomsmen had endless fun starting with a celebratory groom prep by toasting bourbon before slipping into their classic black tuxedos. We captured them doing a Reservoir Dogs walking shot in the street and some of the groomsmen even started throwing dollars bills in the air as a joke which made it rich in swagger and amusement!
We were able to spend a good amount of time with Genna while she was getting ready with the girls just hanging out in her robe, admiring the dress and opening her romantic and touching letter from Adam. The shot of her in the doorway admiring her dress is one of our absolute favorites as she gleefully awaits and ponders the beautiful moments in her near future. From the heartfelt vows to the gorgeous reception, we feel so fortunate to have clients like Genna and Adam because they put their heart and soul into every detail and it shows in their wedding film and photos. The talented husband and wife team from Villetto Photography were very down to earth and easy to work as they captured some incredible images on this perfect spring day in April.
